Add text or logo watermarks to images in a batch.
Choose up to 30 JPG, PNG, or WebP images, add your own text, logo, or both, and export one watermarked PNG or a ZIP without uploading the originals.

How to use Add Watermark to Image
- Choose up to 30 JPG, PNG, or WebP images and select text, logo, or combined watermark mode.
- Enter your own text or choose a local PNG, JPG, or WebP logo; the default text is empty and adds nothing by itself.
- Set position, opacity, text and logo size, rotation, color, tile gap, and edge margin, then select Apply watermarks.
- Check the first-image preview and download one PNG for a single source or watermarked-images.zip for a batch.
How it works
- The browser captures the selected source files and the complete watermark configuration before rendering, then processes one canvas at a time so every image in the batch receives the same settings.
- Text and logo pixels are composed locally with Canvas. Changing any setting immediately invalidates the previous result; select Apply watermarks again before downloading the updated PNG or ZIP.
Formats and limits
| Main images | Up to 30 JPG, PNG, or WebP files per batch. |
|---|---|
| Logo | Optional PNG, JPG, or WebP image; transparent PNG usually gives the cleanest overlay. |
| Modes | Text only, logo only, or text and logo together. |
| Placement | Four corners or center with edge margin; a tiled pattern with rotation and gap. |
| Output | A static PNG for one source; watermarked-images.zip containing one static PNG per source for a batch. EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and animation are not preserved. |
| Privacy | Image decoding, watermark composition, PNG encoding, preview, and ZIP creation remain in the current browser tab. |
Real failure cases
- Choosing more than 30 main images rejects the batch before any source or logo is decoded.
- Logo and Text + logo modes need a decodable logo file; Text and Text + logo modes need non-empty text. The page shows a setup message instead of claiming a finished result.
- Large source dimensions or batches can exceed browser memory because PNG blobs must remain available while the ZIP is assembled.
Example result to verify
| Input | Twelve 1600x1200 product JPGs plus one transparent brand-logo PNG. |
|---|---|
| Settings | Logo mode, bottom-right, 55% opacity, 18% logo width, -10 degree rotation, and 4% edge margin. |
| Output | watermarked-images.zip with twelve files whose names end in -watermarked.png. |
| Verify | Open two images from the ZIP and confirm the selected logo, placement, opacity, rotation, and margin match the first-image preview. |
Best for
- Watermarking a batch of product photos before sharing.
- Combining a name or copyright line with a transparent logo.
- Creating repeated tiled marks on client-review images.
What you get
- One watermarked PNG for a single image or a ZIP for a batch of up to 30 images.
- Text-only, logo-only, or combined text-and-logo marks with position, opacity, size, rotation, color, gap, and margin controls.
- A preview of the first processed image while every selected source receives the same captured settings.
Before you download
- Visible watermarks discourage casual reuse but do not prove ownership or prevent determined removal.
- Each source is exported as a static PNG, so EXIF, IPTC, XMP, and WebP animation are not preserved.
- A PNG batch can use substantial browser memory and may be larger than the original JPG or WebP files.
- Text stays on one line and very wide words are reduced to fit the canvas.
Questions about Add Watermark to Image
Can I watermark multiple images at once?
Yes. Choose up to 30 JPG, PNG, or WebP images. One source downloads as a PNG, while two or more sources download together as watermarked-images.zip.
Can I combine text and a logo watermark?
Yes. Select Text + logo mode, enter your own text, and choose a PNG, JPG, or WebP logo. Text-only and logo-only modes are also available.
How do I make a repeating tiled watermark?
Choose Tiled position, then adjust rotation and tile gap. Opacity, text size, logo size, and color still apply to every repeated mark.
Why is Apply watermarks required after I change a setting?
A settings change invalidates the previous result immediately. Applying again renders the complete batch with one captured configuration and prevents an older PNG or ZIP from being downloaded by mistake.
Does adding a watermark prove that I own an image?
No. A visible watermark can discourage casual reuse, but it is not tamper-proof rights management or legal proof of ownership.
